Asphalt repair
A repair done properly (saw cut, recompacted base, hot-mix asphalt) instead of a “patch” that pops out in spring.

Asphalt sealcoating
A protective coat applied to a prepared surface, blocking what wears asphalt down and giving it back its new look.

Asphalt resurfacing
When the foundation still holds, we don’t tear it out: we lay a new layer of hot-mix asphalt over it. The brand-new look, at a fraction of the cost.

Excavation and foundation
Excavation, removal of the old surface, crushed stone compacted in layers and drainage slopes. The base that makes asphalt hold, or a site ready to pave for your project.

Not sure what to choose? Get free advice: the condition of the base decides, not a salesperson.
Repair, resurface or rebuild?
It is not a matter of preference, it is a matter of how the base is holding up. Here is how we decide during the site visit.
| Criteria | Repair | Resurface | Rebuild |
|---|---|---|---|
| Condition of the base | Sound, localized damage | Sound, surface worn everywhere | Sunken, too thin or unstable |
| Typical symptoms | A few cracks, a pothole, a broken edge | Grey surface, widespread surface cracks, no sinking | Networked cracks, waves, puddles, multiple sunken spots |
| What it fixes | Stops the deterioration where it is | Gives a new surface over what still holds | Fixes the cause: foundation, drainage, thickness |
| What it does not fix | A base that moves elsewhere | Sinking and a weak base | Nothing: it is the complete solution |
| Length of the work | One visit, most of the time | One day, most of the time | One day of preparation, then paving in the following days |
| Relative budget | $ | $$ | $$$ |
"$ / $$ / $$$" = the relative cost of one option compared to the others, not an amount. The firm price is written in your quote, after the site visit.
Five steps. Zero surprises.
- 01
Site visit and quote
You get a written price, not an estimate: we measure on site, assess the base and the drainage, and every step is itemized in the quote.
- 02
Preparation
We remove what no longer holds and build what you will never see: excavation, crushed stone compacted in layers, drainage slopes.
- 03
Paving
Hot asphalt is laid with a paver for a uniform thickness, then compacted with a roller. The result: a smooth surface with no waves or visible seams.
- 04
Finishing
Clean edges, tidy transitions to the garage, the sidewalk and the street. The site is cleaned up: you pick up nothing.
- 05
Follow-up
You leave with maintenance instructions, your written warranty and clear advice on the ideal time for sealcoating.
A written price, not an estimate over the phone.
