Privacy Policy
Asphalte Pro Québec (“we”) respects your privacy and complies with Quebec’s Law 25 on the protection of personal information.
Information collected
When you fill out a form, we collect the information needed to respond to your request: name, phone number, email, city, requested service, timeline and project details. We also record technical data tied to the submission: IP address, browser type, page viewed and where the visit came from, for example the name of the advertising campaign that brought you to the site.
Use
This information is used to contact you by phone, text message or email about your quote request, to plan the work and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising. We do not send newsletters and we do not sell your data. We entrust it to the providers that process requests for us: website hosting (Cloudflare), receiving requests by email (Google), request management and message sending (HighLevel) and, for advertising measurement, Meta. You can unsubscribe from a text message by replying STOP, and from an email with the unsubscribe link.
Retention and security
Your information is kept for as long as needed to process your request and to meet legal obligations, on secure systems. The site is served over HTTPS.
Cookies and audience measurement
This site uses Google Analytics, the Meta pixel and the Google Ads tag, three measurement tools that set cookies as soon as you arrive. Google Analytics counts pages viewed, the approximate origin of visitors (country, city), device type and the sending of a quote request, in order to improve the site. Nothing you type into a form (name, phone number, email) is passed to Google Analytics. Its data is kept for 14 months and may be processed by Google outside Quebec, Canada. Our host Cloudflare also counts visits in aggregate, without advertising cookies.
You can block these cookies in your browser settings, with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and in your Facebook, Instagram and Google ad preferences. Cookies strictly necessary for operation (anti-bot protection on the form) are set separately.
Advertising on Facebook and Instagram (Meta)
We advertise on Facebook and Instagram. As soon as you arrive, this site loads the Meta measurement pixel, which sets cookies (_fbp, and _fbc if you come from an ad) and tells Meta which pages you viewed and when a request is sent, in order to measure the effect of our ads, improve their delivery and show them to people who have visited the site.
When you send a request, our server also passes to Meta (Conversions API) your email (if you provided it), phone number, first name, last name, city and province, turned into a digital fingerprint (SHA-256), along with your IP address, browser, Meta cookie identifiers, the page visited, and the service and city requested. The free text you write is never passed on. A digital fingerprint is not anonymity: Meta can compare it with those of its users. We do not sell your information.
Advertising on Google (Google Ads)
We advertise on Google Search. As soon as you arrive, this site loads the Google Ads tag, which sets cookies (_gcl_au, and a click identifier gclid if you come from an ad) and tells Google which pages you viewed and when a quote request is sent, in order to measure the effect of our ads and improve their delivery. Nothing you type into a form (name, phone number, email) is passed to Google Ads: only a request number, which does not identify you, travels with the conversion, so that it is not counted twice. You can control what Google keeps about you in your Google ad settings.
Processing outside Quebec
The providers named above (Cloudflare, Google, HighLevel, Meta) may process information outside Quebec, Canada, notably in the United States.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your information by writing to [email protected]. Person responsible for the protection of personal information: the management of Asphalte Pro Québec.
